To My Fellow Americans Who Voted for Barack Obama,

Thank you for your incredible and selfless efforts to elect Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America.

As I reflect upon the effort that it took to make Mr. Obama the President Elect of our country, I am humbled by your unswerving commitment, perseverance and dedication.  I am proud to have shared this journey with you and I am optimistic about the future of the United States.  Take time to digest this historic moment, and then redouble your commitment to our President-Elect and his ambitious platform.  Though we have just completed an incredible chapter in American history, a new chapter has just begun and we will all play a role in how it is written.

To my countrymen who did not support our new President-Elect, I respect your choice and value our freedoms protected by our democracy.  I believe that in time, you will find that Mr. Obama will strive to serve all Americans and will fight to protect and uplift our country.  He will be a unifying force for America and will strengthen the American Dream.  I encourage you to give our President Elect your full support.
